Liliana Cantú
Liliana Cantú is a consultant with Simmons Associates, Inc. She is a native Mexican and specializes in training and consulting in the intercultural field.
Ms. Cantú has professional experience in the fields of human resources, public relations, relocation services, cross-cultural and intercultural training, as well as personal intercultural experience
in several countries including the United States, Canada, Venezuela, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Portugal.
She has participated as a speaker and planning committee member at international symposia, and served as a member of the 2004-2005 Employee Relocation Council’s Global Advisory Council. She has delivered and coordinated cross-cultural training seminars to national and international audiences, in several international companies.
Ms. Cantú holds a B.S. degree in Marketing and a Masters Degree in Communication with an emphasis on Intercultural Communication. She also has the Intercultural Foundations Certificate awarded by the Intercultural Communication Institute.
Ms. Cantú also serves as a part time university professor at the ITESM (commonly known as Monterrey Tech), one of the most prestigious institutions in Latin America, where she teaches intercultural communication courses to national and international students, in Spanish as well as English.
